Below Teairra Mari is talking about all the moves that she is making in the movies, with Bow Wow and without Bow Wow - the without pertaining to a relationship with the rapper- as well as her new album that promises to drop this spring.  As you watch the interview below, there is also some big beef going on between Teairra and another singer, not Rihanna, that she calls out, but not by her real name.  Instead she uses the female dog nickname that starts with a capital or lowercase B - depending on emphasis.  Bad blood, bad blood

As far as the interview, it was pretty good, but what was up with the seating arrangement thing.  It looked pretty awkward there - talking literally back and forth instead of face to face.  Maybe there was a prop or notes or something in the way.  Get it.  Camera angle issues a poss.

The man behind the album, Untitled, is officially down as of right now.  R Kelly has been told to place his tour on hold because of nodules that have developed in his throat.  Bummer.  R Kelly was looking to kick off his tour, however, the length of time this situation has caused him to sit out is one full month.  The tour was originally supposed to start on March 22nd.  Therefore, there will be absolutely no lyrics coming from those chords for a while.  R Kelly did issue a short statement:

“I owe it to my fans to give them the best shows possible, and right now my voice isn’t up to the job.”

The fall 2010 is when R Kelly is expected to resume his schedule.

Alicia Keys "Put It In A Love Song" Cover Art

Meanwhile there has been another push back, and this push back has to do with the release of Alicia Keys’ Put It In a Love Song video. A few weeks back, all that was talked about was the release of this video that Alicia and Beyonce shot while in Brazil, however, instead of the release coming on March 15th, it is scheduled to hit on the 17th or even  later than that - going into April.  Whenever it does hit, people will be glued as Alicia and Beyonce are right now two of the most talked about females in music at this point in time.

Jennifer Hudson is a shining star with her shining engagement ring along with her soon to be shining performance as she strolls on through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).  From the looks of that ring, things are going quite right in her relationship with her man, David, but the other thing that has her shining is that she will be performing @ the NCAA men’s basketball championship game.  The song she will be singing is the oh so familiar One Shining Moment.  See, told ya Jennifer Hudson shines…pearly whites and all in that grin.

What is so historic about J Hud singing at this event is that it makes her the first woman to do so.  All the rest of the times past were male singers.

Marques Houston has decided to bring everyone a new album this summer, and he has already released a single sample of it called Noize which can be heard below.  The title of this new album in Mattress Music, so we already know what that is.  The same ole bedroom stuff people can keep to themselves.  Anyway, below is a photo that was taken from the photoshoot for the album, and questions are answered again about what the album is about.  Real talk…no need for all that extra lowness. 

Will music mean something again…ever?  Not hating because it is good when people are doing their thing and making an honest living, but sometimes it seems that the quality of lyrics that really mean something has left.  It’s really like everyone is borrowing lyrics from each other and just giving them a remix.  Heard one sex song, heard them all.

Don’t get it twisted, a great meaningful songs are forever out here with people like Jaheim, Kandi, Monica and any gospel album!  Now, despite the name of the album, there really may be some meaningful other than bedroom activity up in the mix, so give it a listen.  Congrats on the new album, though, as he is a talented singer, actor.

The stars are getting together again with Quincy Jones to release another big hit.  This is a big hit prediction because what more can be expected from Quincy Jones, right?

Word is that Quincy Jones has pulled together some of the hottest behind the mic such as LL Cool J, Mary J Blige and even Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Hudson with a bit of Usher and more to drop his newest titled Q: Soul Bossa Nostra.  Each individual artist on the compilation disc that will be released in summer 2010 around June will remake Quincy Jones’ greatest hits, and one of the first to drop is a song from Akon called Strawberry Letter 23.    Don’t know it…check it below.  This is a 1977 joint by Brothers Johnson.  After hearing this, we know that Q:Soul Bossa Nostra is going to be hot!
