Ice Cube Rips Young Haters In The Industry: “I Ain’t Scared Of No N*^^@”
Don’t hate, just do your thing to see if he can be knocked off the block is basically the talk from Ice Cube’s way. Honestly, Ice Cube can’t be knocked off because he is grounded and rooted in the rap game as well as getting ends off of the movie game. There are some that do believe that Ice Cube needs to step aside because they consider him played and too old for the industry now.

On that note, this is what Ice Cube has to say back to those who, as he calls it from his blog, “disrespects” him. Trust that he didn’t hold his tongue. Look out for I Am The West, his next album due for drop in July.
What’s up with these local MC’s in L.A. who keep disrespecting me? They’re just mad cause I don’t f*ck with they wack-*ss. They ain’t on my level, why should I waste my time. I don’t even remember ever meeting these clowns or even being in the same room with any of ‘em. They can’t make a name for themselves so they need help from the O/G’s. I refuse the throw’em a life line. F*ck’em. It ain’t my job to make nobody famous. And for the record, I ain’t scared of no n*^ga. Especially, no rappers….seriously people.
Age-ism in rap? Age-ism is everywhere folks. In the work place, in sports and of course in hip-hop. We are a out with the OLD in with the NEW world. But as we go through life we realize NEWER ain’t always better. We find ourselves saying, “Back in the day, bah, bah, bah….” All young MC’s should route for old MC’s to have long careers. If you play us out, what kind of future do you have in hip-hop when you get 40?
Advice for young rappers: You gotta be hot on your block first, then your city, then your state, then your country, then the world. If you can’t make your block notice you. The world is a tall task.
True that. True that.
Sade Shoots Down A Colab With Drake
Well, it looks like Sade is remaining Sade which means she isn’t changing her style of music for anyone, including Drake.

Drake made it known that he wants to colab with Sade, a woman who has been around and stayed around and on top of the music game, even while things have changed. This is obviously something that Drake adores about her music, but unfortunately, he won’t get the chance to work with her as Sade doesn’t move away from her type of groove.
Drake remains hopeful, especially after his next drop called Thank Me Later. Don’t get this thing twisted though. It wasn’t a diss on Drake, but more of a personal safety thing when it comes to the Sade sound that Sade is protecting.

Rapper Waka Flocka Locked Up On Probation Violation
Wow, if this isn’t similar to DMX without the drugs. It’s another probation violation for a rapper, and this time it is Waka Flocka. Looks like open season on all rap artists because they keep getting caught slippin! In this case, Waka was riding probation over having a sawed off shotgun, and when he left the state of Georgia - violation!

Waka Flocka has been in the news recently for talking noise and his music, but now for the jail house rock. There is no release for Waka Flocka either, so he has to remain in jail until he sees the judge. Terrible.
If you didn’t see it, check out some behind the scenes for the O Let’s Do It Remix with Flocka below:
