I love this man’s music and presence in entertainment, and it’s so sad to announce that rap artist Heavy D has passed away at 44 due to causes unknown at this time. Heavy D was pronounced dead when he arrived at the hospital after he was found unconscious about noon today. Police aren’t suspecting foul play…
May Heavy D rest in peace, and may the Lord of all be with his family and friends for comfort during mourning.
UPDATE: It is being reported by TMZ that Heavy D had a hard time breathing, at least this was his complaint as he lost consciousness. Come to find out, Heavy D had pneumonia and with this came the sudden shortness of breath leading to a heart attack. None of this is confirmed via the proper medical sources, only those who were witnesses to Heavy D’s passing.
