Singer Nivea has gone against reports that stated she was drunk when she wrecked her car over the weekend in Atlanta. Word was coming out of Bossip.com that Nivea was arrested and booked on DUI after hitting a tree while a baby was passenger in the car. Well, Nivea’s side of the story is that she wasn’t drunk at all. The tree, according to TMZ, was a fallen tree in the middle of the road, however, it was secured off from the road with police tape. Apparently, Nivea didn’t see it nor the cones and police tape when she rammed into it.
Nivea explains to S2S Magazine that “Once I spotted [the tree]—after I cut on my brights,” Nivea explained, “I was running into it at that the point. It was too late.” “My friends that I was with would not have even allowed me to drive if I was drunk,” Nivea said. “There was an ignorant mistake. There was an old bottle [of alcohol] in the back of my car that they found, which is why people were spreading the rumor that it was a DUI.” “I was not, however, drinking and driving.” “The tree went through my windshield and almost went through me,”
Okay so I’m so glad that was a lie. Have to know that reports from sources are somewhat somekinda some true, but maybe missing MUCH detail.
