According to Variety, it looks like the Queen of rap, Latifah, is creating a drama for television on VH1. The whole purpose of why VH1 needs this drama is said to be for a clean balance for reality show against movies. Now, word is that the characters in this untitled movie are involved in fashion and music, so this one is right up Latifah’s alley as she has done both.
Filming will take place in the city of Atlanta.
