“For us and about us” is the quote that Mo’Nique uses to describe the Hoodie Awards as it showcases African American achievements and more. Mo’Nique also discusses her weight and wants to give choice words to those who are hating on her losing weight at any given moment while giving herself the not so nice compliment of having a big head. Well, it wouldn’t be a nice compliment to many, however, when it comes to Mo’Nique, she knows that her head fits with the whole package.
