Look for new Busta Rhymes in 2010, or even sooner than that by the end of this year with singles due to drop for his next album.  The Chemo is the name of Busta Rhymes new project, and according to Billboard, there are high expectations for this album as it is to be the treatment for a cancer ridden music industry.

Busta Rhymes believes that it is time for real hip hop, music to come back into play, and yes, anyone who was born in the era of real music understands what Busta Rhymes is saying in this quote below:

“The cancer that’s stricken the business is killing the music, not only from a business standpoint, but also the value of the content and the creativity behind it. I just want to start the first stage of chemotherapy treatment that needs to take place and hopefully inspire others to do their part and contribute to different stages of the cure.”

Creativity and content are the main things that have gone missing in music. Back in the day, there was always a distinguishing factor between the artists. Today, it’s nearly a game of memorization - who that is and who that is - because all in all three out of five sound alike and singing/rapping about the same things all the time. Will Busta change the game in 2010 with The Chemo? We will see.
