Rihanna Russian Roulette Official Video (View); Rated R Album Review
Rihanna’s Russian Roulette Video premieres and it is bloody, gun on the table and all, and somebody does get shot…view the video to find out. Also, the video does make everyone think back to the night she was beat down by Chris Brown through similarities such as being locked up in a cage, no way out, and then the car racing in the road…getting ready to hit her.

Deep.

Alright, I just finished listening to the Rihanna’s Rated R album, and it really isn’t as bad as one may have thought stemming from the first couple of songs released, speaking of Wait Your Turn and Russian Roulette. Actually, of all the 13 songs on the album, a good six are a definite. These six are Te Amo, Cold Case Love, Rude Boy, Fire Bomb, Stupid In Love, & Photographs.
Te Amo is a hit off the top. The beat and sound is that of a Spanish groove, and it depicts a woman falling in love with another woman, except when the other lady hears the words, she doesn’t go that route. The sound of the song is fantastic.
Next, Cold Case Love, Photographs and Stupid in Love have Chris Brown written all over them. These songs are actually diving into the heart of Rihanna during a dark time in her life and lost love. All the songs pull out feeling and depth…it’s personal, therefore, if you want to go deeply into Rihanna, these are the songs to feel how she feels about losing a love that she now considers embarrassing.
Rude Boy and Fire Bomb…causing a club scene type of feel, however, Rude Boy is quite rated R, therefore, get the clean version…yes there is a clean version… for the children if you choose to buy the album.
Overall, Rated R is a sell and not nearly as bad as once thought as far as music is concerned. It is explicit, so know this and be prepared for some of the Rihanna’s R lyrics, however, if you go to compare it to Good Girl Gone Bad, be disappointed. Without comparison, it is a different vibe for the Rihanna that we once knew, but I feel that inside this album is a place inside Rihanna that represents that song…Good Girl Gone Bad. Not that she is gone bad technically, but will Rihanna ever be the same…as that song goes…once she goes bad, she’s gone forever.
