Anytime someone wants to make a change for the better, it is oh so good, and this is the case for reality star from For the Love of Ray J first and second season, Monica “Danger” Leon. Recently, Monica Danger started a blog, and in it she writes how she used to live according to a certain mode prior to having a baby. That mode was wild and crazy while at some times “smashin the homies”, however, Monica Danger has turned a new leaf since giving birth to a blessed baby girl with the father, Gabriel Cannon.
A portion of Monica Danger Leon’s blog is as follows:
“As a mother I cannot be any of these things I have grown accustomed to. My self identity has become sooooo many different things, and in the media I have been portrayed as a negative, insane, lewd girl. At this crossroads, many decisions have to be made. I am a single mother of color in America. I have to provide a household for my child and a stable environment for her to flourish and grow and this has become my top priority. I knew when I became pregnant that I would have to change.”

As you can read, Monica describes herself as a single mother of color in America, and this in itself says volumes. Women of color in America are many times portrayed as loose amongst many other terms, therefore, Monica Danger is out to change that and also help other women and girls through her own metamorphosis. Danger also describes herself as an artist. She really is a fabulous artist by the way as she is soon to release Danger in Wonderland showcasing her talent.
In conclusion, here is a bit more of what Danger writes in her new blog below, and it actually shines a newer light on the not so moralistic way of living in her past. She gives credit to her new baby girl.
Never too late to change … unless you are six feet under.
“Slogans like “Danger Smashed the Homies” and nude photos scour the internet upon an easy search of my name. Transitioning from who I was to who I am to who I want to become is a difficult necessity for my self preservation and my newborn daughter.
As a single mother, I reflect on what kind of mother I want to be and who I am as a person. I am an artist. First and always. I see everything as self expression, and art”
