Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too looks to be a fantastic one, and if you view the trailer below, there is a hint to some maybe terrible news that may be coming beyond the water for Janet Jackson who stars in the sequel.
Throughout his career, Tyler Perry has brought to the big screen some major blockbusters, and at the same time, Perry has gained much criticism for his type of movie. Spike Lee for instance calls Tyler Perry’s movies a step down for black people. However, to each his own, because where one person or group of people loathe Tyler Perry movies and plays, there are some who adore them as they tend to capture the real things such as God, family, and overcoming love with a little Madea on the side for laughter.
Though many are used to the rated PG-ness of Tyler Perry’s movies, be warned about Precious which has hit the theaters. Tyler Perry sent out an email message to all who follow him stating over and over again that the movie Precious is rated R. It is so R in fact that he had to stress it bigtime. Of course, this is due to the whole nature of a film that has to do with abuse, so it comes with the territory.
