Run DMC are a legendary in rap music. The group contributed so much to rap that paved the way for the rap artists today as well as gave the public something to dance to that the New York City Council renamed 205th Street and Hollis Ave corner to Run DMC JMJ. Of course, JMJ is named for the late Jam Master Jay who was murdered.
