According to a number of sources, the famous couple made of First Lady and actress LisaRaye McCoy Misick and The Chief Minister, Michael Misick of Turks and Caicos Islands will be getting a divorce after the news that LisaRaye revealed to BlackVoices:

"It is with great sadness that I have to announce that my husband and I have separated."

Also according to Blackvoices there was an affair that had taken place with Rocsi of 106 & Park. LisaRaye would like more privacy than ever during this time in her life.

So what happens when marriages fail? Why do they, at an increasingly high rate seem to be here today happy and gone tomorrow sadly? It is almost as if tough times can't be toughed out or that one person isn't strong enough to even be in a marriage to begin with.



The vow. Is this what makes it so difficult? Some would say yes,and then others would say not quite. The only reason that not being married seems easier is that there are technically no rules of play. Dating is dating whether it is for a long time or a short time, and with the absence of a vow, no promises are made to anyone nor are they made in front of witnesses to hold you to it. However, when the vow is made, is it possible that the reality of the situation kicks in that what was just done is a promise of forever and forsaking all other of the opposite sex just for one?

Maybe the reality of the situation of marriage isn't well thought out in the beginning. Roses is never what a marriage will always be and a perfect spouse...well - we don't see too many other people besides Jesus walking on water, therefore, the search for perfection is out the door.

In this particular case, rumor has it that it was an affair that caused the drama. Adultery is difficult to repair, if at all possible sometimes. What is worse than the act is the deception of a spouse. This deception ultimately causes the woman or the man to never be able to see that person the same again. Trust mostly goes out of the window and fighting erupts, thus, falling out of love.

Only God can help them now. LisaRaye is beautiful and if in fact her husband did choose another, if only for a spell, it wasn't worth the loss of a wife.
