Saying No To Gay Marriage - Is It Hatred, Discriminatory, Or God's Truth?

California has just overturned a ban on gay marriage in their state, and as a result, has made many happy and on the other side, many very unhappy with the ruling. Gay couples around the USA are now free to travel to California and get married even if they are not legal residents of the state because there is no restriction. Speaking of restrictions, should there be a restriction on marriage and is it hatred, discrimination or God's Truth for it to remain solely between a man and a woman?
The marriage restriction is fair. Their must be restrictions overall for marriage due to the fact that you can't have children marrying parents, or brothers marrying sisters, or animals and humans getting together as an extreme stretch on things, thus, there is a natural place for restrictions on matrimony. Whether to call matrimony holy is another thing.
Based on biblical principle and God's Own Truth, homosexuality is a sin. Fornication is a sin as well as adultery and rape. These are all sexual sins as falling under One God of the Bible. Individuals must be married in order to come together sexually in order for it not to be sinful. Period. There is no fine line on this matter. Marriage is explained the same way - man and woman.
There are more than one scripture that support this solely male and female togetherness, but we will look at one.
Romans 1:22-28
22Claiming to be wise, they became fools [professing to be smart, they made simpletons of themselves].
23And by them the glory and majesty and excellence of the immortal God were exchanged for and represented by images, resembling mortal man and birds and beasts and reptiles.
24Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their [own] hearts to sexual impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves [abandoning them to the degrading power of sin],
25Because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, Who is blessed forever! Amen (so be it).
26For this reason God gave them over and abandoned them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal one,
27And the men also turned from natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burning out, consumed) with lust for one another--men committing shameful acts with men and suffering in their own [d]bodies and personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their wrong-doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting retribution.
28And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not proper or decent but loathsome,
After reading only this scripture, it is clear that to believe in what God says, one must believe in this. Now is it hatred? Let's take a look.
One way we take look at this is first dealing with choice and Who God is.
God in Deuteronomy 11:26-29 set before all mankind choice, the freedom to choose. The scripture states:
26Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse--
27The blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day;
28And the curse if you will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you this day to go after other gods, which you have not known.
Another scripture - Deuteronomy 30:18-20 - reads:
19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live
20And may love the Lord your God, obey His voice, and cling to Him. For He is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
It is clear, even since the beginning of time, that God gives mankind free will to do what they will but to always remember that there is a consequence - a blessing or a curse.
Therefore, God has actually left it up to an individual to decide after receiving instruction and guidance, which path to go, and it is left solely up to that individual. God doesn't hate them for it, but will have a consequence for it later if it doesn't follow His Word for God hates not people, but sin.
Basically, just as God hates rape, murder, and even lies, He does hate sexual sin and even homosexuality, but not the person. He doesn't hate a life for God is love. He breathed life into everyone, loves everyone, and wants everyone to live, but the choice has been set before everyone.
Therefore, though God even set one rule in the garden of Eden, don't eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil and didn't make them as robots but like Him - free to choose to listen or not - the same He does for all still. Individuals are free to hear and listen to God or not and in the end only God will decide and judge. Finally, the beginning of all wisdom is the fear of God. Hopefully, every individual makes the right choice for themselves after gaining knowledge.
Finally, hate belongs nowhere in love, however, we can all gain knowledge and wisdom to make the right choices for ourselves. Another thing that we all can do is pray for one another, no matter what race, gender or sexuality, because we all need it and can always do better. God is watching, right?
