Sen. Hillary Clinton, Woman On A Mission, Won West Virginia

Sen. Hillary Clinton

With her mission loudly and clearly heard throughout the state of West Virginia, Hillary Clinton took the win from Obama by a big margin. This was likely to be the case prior to the W. Va primary. Despite Hillary winning this round of votes, it isn't enough to overtake Obama for the win.

According to the NY Times, 8 out of every 10 voters counted here said that race played an important part in their vote. So race was truly a big part in West Virginia's primary, however, race isn't a part of the delegate count as it looks because no matter what Clinton wins, she still won't overtake Barack Obama-even if the wild race card is played.

Clinton won 67 to Obama's 26 percent. It just looks like West Virginia doesn't want to back Obama. 7 percent went on to vote for a man who isn't even running anymore - John Edwards. Hmmm.
