Times have not been excellent for rapper DMX lately, from a speeding arrest to now charges for animal cruelty and drug charges in just the recent days after a raid on his home. According to sources, DMX had apparently barricaded himself in his bedroom away from the officers, however, after some time passed, surrendered.

This is another downward spiral it seems for the rapper as he always seems to have an inner struggle. DMX is known to have said that he thought he had a call into the ministry of Christ and even made it official that he was dropping a gospel album. Then there is another side to DMX, as with many, that sometimes goes off on the other end with trouble. No one is perfect, however, DMX seems to always be a man in an extremely hard internal struggle with the good and the bad or how he would like to be, in a sense. Hopefully things begin to look up for the rapper as this past week for him was full of facing the law.

DMX was released on bail.
